Jordan won the Outstanding Actor In A Motion Picture award for his role as Bryan Stevenson in “Just Mercy.” Stevenson’s work has made such an impact on the world, helping to expose the corruption in the U.S. justice system, helping those who have been wrongfully accused go free. Stevenson’s work even changed Michael B. Jordan’s life.

“This project is a lot bigger than myself. It’s about every person who has been wrongfully convicted who is sitting in a jail cell right now, who’s been unfairly sentenced,” Jordan said.
