Kevin Hart Teams Up With Nike Run Club
How does Kevin Hart do it? In between a monster 45-city comedy tour, multiple film roles, and Real Husbands of Hollywood, the actor and comedian manages to squeeze in spontaneous 5K runs with his fans.
After the surprise runs in Boston and Atlanta drew huge crowds of enthusiastic joggers, Hart hosted one in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, partnering with the Nike Run Club for his biggest mini-marathon yet.
The impromptu 3.1-mile race kicked off in Prospect Park at 9:34 a.m., after Hart tweeted the previous day, "Breaking news people: Since I'm performing at the Barclays 2morrow 4 the 1st time, I've decided to take my spontaneous 5K run to Brooklyn."
He added, "My goal is to make this the BIGGEST run yet…I've teamed up with Nike & together we plan on making this 5K event EPIC."
Well, when Kev sets out to do something, he succeeds. More than 1000 people showed up, that's nearly one person for every movie he's been in this year alone.
