Nicole Richie Shares Her Fashion Inspiration
Nicole Richie has been super busy on the style front with her new line for QVC HQ as well as House of Harlow's Fall 2014 jewelry line. In a recent chat with People.com, the fashionista opened up about her latest collections and her creative process.
"Most of my design and creative work happens in my workspace. My office door opens up to the outdoors so it's nice to have that. I also always have music on — music takes me to my creative zone," she said, adding that she keeps in mind her customer for her two lines.
Her QVC collection is full of fun dresses, outerwear and pieces you can mix and match to suit your own style.
"I focused on designing layering pieces," she said. "You can wear each piece a number of different ways. I love to mix and match pieces in my everyday life and this collection is a reflection of that."
As for what trends she's loving and leaving, Richie said she's doesn't follow trends in the first place. "I think they can be limiting as far as developing your own personal style," she added.
