Marshawn Lynch Smacked a Phone Out of Fan's Hand for Recording Him
Don't ever run up on Beast Mode thinking things are sweet. A couple of teenagers pulled up on the former star NFL running back and found out quickly that Marshawn Lynch isn't the one to try.
TMZ Sports posted footage of Lynch smacking a cellphone out of an autograph-seeking fan's hand at LAX and spitting in his direction moments later.
According to the celebrity news website, the incident took place Monday, when two teenagers — an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old — got tipped off about Lynch's flight and approached him for an autograph.
Beast Mode wasn't happy that they were recording him at all, confronting the 18-year-old and slapping his cell out of his hand, cracking it as it hit the concrete. After walking into LAX's terminal, Lynch came back out a few moments later and spit in the teens' direction as he walked past them in disgust to further drive home his point about invading his space and recording him without his permission.
TMZ reports that the owner of the phone is considering filing a police report for assault.
Take a look at the incident unfold below.
This isn't Lynch's first run-in with an autograph-seeking teen, either. About two years ago in Wisconsin, the then-Seattle Seahawks rusher was accused of threatening to slap the phone out of a 13-year-old boy's hand and the smile off his face when he was followed by the young fan outside the team's hotel.
If you're taking notes, don't follow, record and ask Marshawn Lynch for an autograph.
Lynch, who will turn 31 next week, has been rumored to be interested in returning to the NFL to play for his hometown Oakland Raiders before they relocate to Las Vegas. Last week, he reportedly even visited the Raiders' facility.
