Rick Ross Has Issued a Threat to Drake on Meek Mill's Behalf
The Meek Mill and Drake beef has returned to the forefront of rap fans' minds as each party has been ratcheting up the rhetoric between them.
Rick Ross, whose label Meek is signed to, has at different points inserted himself into the bout. His most recent interview though may be the most bold about the back and forth to date.
Sitting down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN for their Drink Champions podcast, Rozay reflected on the beef and says if things get too hot, he’ll do what he needs to to ensure Meek coming out on top.
“If it’s gotta go there, Renzel gonna jump off the porch on your a**,” he explained. “That’s just the way I’ve always been and I’m gonna die that way… you just gotta know what you doing for [your] dogs, for [your] family, that’s what it is.”
Rick Ross then disputed claims that the Philly rapper took any L's during the Drake beef, which many say he did.
“Just off some G s**t, [Meek] ain’t lose to nobody,” said Rozay in defending Meek. “I know I’m a rich n***a, I know what Meek Mill getting. Everybody don’t know what [Drake’s] business like. I don’t really know what’s touching the bank account.”
Most recently, Drake called out Meek Mill during his Summer '16 tour stop in Philadelphia. During that same show, affiliates of Meek showed up at the venue to confront Drizzy, which didn’t end up happening.
