DJ Mustard Detained By Police At LAX
DJ Mustard was detained by cops on Friday night after TSA found a gun in a carry-on bag that went through the x-ray machine at LAX.
According to TMZ, the celebrated producer was about to board a plane with a friend when one of the TSA employees noticed the weapon in the bag. Law enforcement officials told the site that Mustard and his companion began walking away without the carry-on item when they were stopped by airport police.
The site reports that the gun was identified as a loaded, .22 semi-automatic handgun.
Police eventually separated the two and questioned them, individually. They, ultimately, released DJ Mustard and proceeded to arrest his friend as they determined through airport surveillance video that the friend was carrying the gun.
Speaking with TMZ, Mustard explained that he was clueless that a weapon was in the bag, at all.
"I'm not in handcuffs. I didn't bring no gun," he said. "I don't know. I don't know what they have."
