Lil Boosie's Daughter Launches Rap Career, Helps Campaign
While rapper Lil Boosie spends time behind bars in Angola State Prison for first degree murder and homocides committed in Baton Rouge Louisiana, his daughter, Iviona Hatch, has decided to launch a rap career and promote an anti-violence campaign. The nine-year-old is joining the "U Hatin? Campaign" that makes people recognize their negative traits like jealousy and offers solutions to overcome those issues. She says she heard about the program through her father.
"I believe in 'U Hatin?' because it teaches people to stop and think about what they are doing and saying, this is opposed to pulling people down," Iviona says in a press release.
The national campaign will spread its message through schools and youth programs using Iviona's music.
"Iviona's songs are about having a high self-esteem, getting a good education, listening to your parents and believing in your dreams," says Lance Silver, chairman of the campaign. "She does all of this through entertaining rhymes and story telling with the same swag as her daddy."
Iviona's debut single "So Hot," is scheduled to drop next month.
