Hollywood stars, musical artists, and sports figures attended culture's biggest night, the BET Awards 2024, hosted by the incomparable Taraji P. Henson. It was a sizzling event.
The ceremony featured several fiery performances from some of the most prominent female artists, including an explosive set from Megan Thee Stallion, a sultry tribute to R&B icon and “Lifetime Achievement ” Usher, and a rare musical appearance by Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Legendary musician Ms. Lauryn Hill made a rare appearance at the BET Awards 2024, bringing along her son and rising star YG Marely, who later performed his hit song “Praise Jah In The Moonlight.” Ms. Hill was later joined by Fugee bandmate Wyclef Jean for a performance of “Fu-Gee-La.”
The ladies of hip-hop and r&b show out for an ultimate tribute to Usher
Childish Gambino kicked off the epic musical tribute to Usher, the recipient of the "Lifetime Achievement Award." The stage soon saw a powerful takeover by some of the industry's hottest female performers, including Keke Palmer, Tinashe, Marsha Ambrosius, and Latto, who delivered a medley of hits. Amidst the celebration, Teyana Taylor and Victoria Monét stole the spotlight with a viral performance of "Bad Girl."
