Wiz Khalifa Working On New Album
Fatherhood has motivated Wiz Khalifa to get back in the studio. During a stop at Power 106 radio station's Big Boy's Neighborhood, Wiz announced work on his third album, inspired by the birth of son Sebastian "The Bash" Taylor Thomaz.
The untitled project will drop sometime this year and is a reflection of all that Wiz has been going through since the 2012 release of his sophomore effort, O.N.I.F.C. "I got so much motivation," Wiz explained. "I been having so much fun, having my son, I feel like it would be a really great time to put out a really dope, relevant project."
After becoming a dad, the "Work Hard Play Hard" rapper took a little time off to spend with "The Bash," but he's back in the swing of things. "I'm doing a lot of features, a lot of videos, I'ma just be everywhere this year. I'ma be doing everything," he said.
Wiz and fiancée Amber Rose welcomed the baby boy in late February. The couple has posted a few images of their son on Instagram but never show his face.
Earlier in the week Rose came under fire for outfitting the infant in marijuana-inspired socks. She responded to the backlash tweeting, "Relax, Sit back & take a shot of shutthef---up thx."
