Challenge Accepted!: DMX Ditches His 1,500 Pair Of Timberland Boots And Takes Over GQ With High Fashion And A Giant Snake
DMX may be a man that’s owned 1,500 pairs of Timberlands in his lifetime—no seriously—but don’t assume he’s not into rocking high fashion gear.
Displaying serious sophistication in the October 2019 issue of GQ titled, “Dark Man X: The Resurrection”, the 48-year-old rapper embodied the magazine’s theme with fall fashions.
Photographed by Awol Erizku switching up his urban attire and showing growth in his style, the Ruff Ryders' Anthem rapper posed with authority in an Ermenegildo Zegna XXX coat ($6,950) with Hermès Pants ($8,550), and Linda Farrow sunglasses ($475).
Styled by GQ’s Fashion Director Mobolaji Dawodu, a fan-favorite from the fashion spread featured an image of DMX rocking a $2,300 coat by Salvatore Ferragamo, Oliver Peoples sunglasses ($545) and a boa constrictor serving as the perfect pet accessory.
