New Study Reveals You Can Judge People Based on Their Shoes
A recent study conducted at the University of Kansas revealed that you can accurately judge a person by simply looking at their shoes.
This may not be hot news for the grandiose fashion crowd who slave to make a statement in their threads, however, for the more subdued types, the findings were pretty surprising.
In the study, 63 students looked at 208 pairs of shoes and correctly guessed a stranger’s age, gender, income and emotional stability at a 90 percent rate. Apparently, worriers suffering from "attachment anxiety" are bound to be found in a brand new shoe; of course the pricey heels belonged to the money-makers and flashy footwear to the extroverts, while the "aloof and repressive" were the ones rocking boring shoes.
In short, the more practical your footwear, the more agreeable you are; aggressive types flock to ankle boots; uncomfortable shoes signal a calm personality; and immaculate pairs are linked to fussy people.
Be honest, did this study accurately describe you?
