Nicki Minaj brought Christmas 2018 to her devout Barbz Army early with an exclusive, tell-all Beats 1 Radio interview and two spanking new hits to delight in: “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li.”

Nicki teased the records earlier this week, setting the internet ablaze with her first social media return of the year and spicy art work for the singles. As promised, she delivered both of the singles on Thursday (April 12) while chopping things up with Zane Lowe as the tracks played during the interview’s intermissions and at the end of their two-hour conversation. One inspired by her signature Barbie stamp and the other by Street Fighter’s first, kick-ass female combater, the anticipation for the singles to drop racked up just as quick as Nicki’s bars does on the two records.

And judging by the current state of damage the songs have left Twitter in, the tracks definitely lived up to the hype.
