Pardison Fontaine Responds with Diss Track Following Megan Thee Stallion's Cheating Allegations
Pardison Fontaine, also known as Pardi, has some things to say in reaction to Meg Thee Stallion’s latest single, “Cobra.”
The Houston Hottie’s lyrics in “Cobra” had the internet in a tizzy. From bars like, "This p**** depressed, I'm about to stress him," to "Pulled up, caught him cheatin', gettin' his d*ck sucked in the same spot I'm sleepin'," Meg seemed to reference the cause of her split with Fontaine, with whom she publicly revealed her relationship in February 2021.
Fontaine’s newly released track, titled, "THEE PERSON," clearly targets Meg. The lyrics explicitly mention her by name, along with numerous jabs at her character that he claims to have observed in the aftermath of their relationship.
In the new song, he raps, “I would like to apologize for uh, no longer keeping up with your lies, or supporting your habits to tell half-truths.”
Fontaine implies that Meg may be dealing with some personal challenges, suggesting that she should take a closer look at herself in the mirror.
"Your soul is disgusting. You have everything, but you're still not happy," he raps, going on to say that he hopes the "Body" hitmaker gets the help she needs.
The producer seems to allude to his ex’s past association with Tory Lanez before the 2020 incident that resulted in his conviction over shooting Meg in the foot. Fontaine hints at other men she may have been involved with, despite her denial to him directly.
“God I treated you like a queen, whole time I’m a clown in your circus,” he raps. “I tried to pull you up out of the mud here you are tryna drown me on purpose, This ain’t for Megan Thee Stallion, it’s for Megan Thee person.”
Fans of both parties have held nothing back in the comments as they expressed their thoughts on the diss track.
One fan wrote, “Getting a ‘FEMINIST’ tattoo then cheating on a woman at her lowest point is WILD,” while another wrote, “I felt the emotions and therapy behind this song. Praying for healing.”
