Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj both attended the Fashion Los Angeles Awards yesterday dressed to kill. KKW wore a Givenchy number that brings to mind Beyonce's Met Gala naked dress by the same designer. Ms. Minaj wore a head-to-toe Versace 'fit.

Kim attended the show to support her friend, famed photographer Mert Alas, who was receiving an award at the event. To offset the intensity of her Givenchy gown, Kim did a relatively chill hair look, a slick, wet hairdo that reminds us of her VMAs 2016 hair (which we loved). She finished her outfit off with her signature, bronze-y glam. 

During glam time, KKW asked her Twitter fam if she should go the "chill" or "fancy" route for her outfit. After seeing an old wedding pic, she decided Givenchy was the way to go. (After all, former creative designer Riccardo Tisci designed her wedding gown.)

Nicki, however, proceeded full-steam ahead in a look from Tisci's female counterpart, Donatella Versace. Unlike Kim, who surprised us this weekend by removing her extensions for a mid-length sleek 'do and then going even shorter days later, Nicki opted for her Black Rapunzel lengths that she's been rocking recently.
