Kelis And Her Kids ‘Almost Fell Off A Cliff’ During A Snowstorm
Kelis and her two children had a scary moment during a snowstorm in California.
In a Feb. 27 Instagram video, the “Bossy” singer said she wanted to take her children out to enjoy the snow; however, her truck got stuck in California’s first blizzard since 1989. “My truck got stuck,” she revealed, saying it was “like hanging” from a cliff.
“Praise God the tow truck actually made it. We’ve been outside for a while,” the 43-year-old said. Luckily, they had snowboarding gear to stay warm. Kelis even showed off the outfits, “Ridiculous … rescue fashion.” In the Instagram video, a tow truck is seen pulling her vehicle away from a cliff, but Kelis was all smiles.
The amount of snowfall in California has been unseen in years. According to CNN, the snow reached 6.5 feet in parts of southern California, and the Sierra Avalanche Center issued an advanced avalanche warning for more snow to come this week. If this level of snow continues, it could break the state’s record from 1911.
