Diddy Reveals His First Girlfriend Would Be Most Surprised He’s a Billionaire

“She messed with my best friend and broke my heart,” said the rapper and record executive.

Diddy's mantra, "It’s all about the Benjamins," has never been more true.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, he reflected on his road to becoming a billionaire.

Kimmel asked, "Is it great to be a billionaire? Do you ever think about it at night?"

"I think about it every day," Diddy laughed.

He went on to say, "You have to understand me. I'm self-made. I come from just putting two quarters together, $2 together. I was a paperboy when I was 12. I wasn't even allowed to be a paper boy. I was running a paperboy scam."

The entrepreneur continued, "You work hard. You get what you deserve. And I'm blessed to have had people support me."

When Kimmel inquired about folks from his past who might be surprised by his entrance into the exclusive billionaire circle, the media mogul revealed that one of his first ex-girlfriends would be taken aback.

Diddy had one person in mind who would be the most shocked to learn that he went from being broke to becoming a billionaire.

The "Bad Boy For Life" rapper said, "I would say my first girlfriend. She messed with my best friend and broke my heart.... I don't know what either one of them are doing right now. They're not doing this."

Kimmel mentioned that she likely contemplates Diddy's billionaire status more than the mogul himself, to which the music executive humorously added that he playfully haunts his ex-girlfriend in her dreams.

"I'm not gonna lie," Diddy exclaimed. "I whisper to her, 'Remember me?'"

According to HighSnobiety, the Harlem-born icon's wealth has increased by tens of millions due to his ventures into reality TV, such as the infamous MTV show "Making the Band." His partnership with the premium vodka brand CÎROC as an ambassador and part-owner has reportedly added a cool $100 million to his coffers so far.

"The launch of the culturally relevant hip-hop network Revolut TV/Media, which surged Diddy's net worth by a staggering half billion. The sum of these endeavors crafts the awe-inspiring financial epic that is P. Diddy's net worth," per HighSnobiety.
