Lil B Wasn’t Happy That The Weeknd Unfollowed Him on Twitter

He regrets his response, though.

Being unfollowed on any social media — and noticing — is not the best feeling in the world, and even celebrities aren’t immune to being in their feelings when someone isn’t #TeamFollowBack.

Lil B, who follows over one million people and has one million followers as a result, was recently angered that The Weeknd wasn’t one in a million.

The Based God fired back on his track “4 the Record,” which featured three words that he now regrets saying — “F**k The Weeknd.”

In a new interview with ILY, he decided to speak out about the less-than-favorable shoutout that had some fans thrown off guard.

“I want to give a shout out to The Weeknd,” Lil B says in the interview. "I want to apologize and take back saying, ‘F**k The Weeknd.’ I said it for no reason and thought about why back when I said it. It’s because he unfollowed me on Twitter and I felt weird about that, and I thought back to that moment and said, ‘Why’d I do that?’

“That’s not right. The Weeknd is a good guy — I talked to him before everything really blew up, and he told me how he felt,” the rapper continues. “I definitely want to apologize about what I said about The Weeknd, and I want him to know that."

Maybe now he’ll get that follow.
