Megan Thee Stallion Checks Men Offended By ‘WAP’s’ Sensual Lyrics
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's epic collaboration “WAP” continues to draw big numbers. The sultry summer banger has already taken over numerous streaming platforms as its accompanying music video has racked up more than 73 million views and counting.
The provocative track has also drawn a wave of criticism that the female MCs are more than ready to address. The collaborative effort only just arrived last Friday (August 7) yet plenty of people have been critical of the overtly sensual lyrics.

Hours after Cardi defended their single amid a new wave of criticism sparked by conservative pundit Ben Shapiro, Megan chimed in with her thoughts towards the sexist criticism over “WAP.”Taking to Twitter, the Houston rapstress pointed out the apparent and hypocritical double standards between the people who seem to take issue with ‘WAP’ are the same ones who sing along to lyrics of the same nature from other artists.
“Lol, dudes will scream ‘slob on my knob’ word for word and crying abt WAP. Bye, lil boy,” she wrote.
Back in 1993, Juicy J released ‘Slob on My Knob’ on his mixtape, Volume 6. Six years later, the track was re-released by Tear Da Club Up Thugs, a subgroup of Three 6 Mafia, according to Rolling Stone. In fact, Cardi flipped some lines from that very track for her verse on G-Eazy’s smash hit “No Limit,” which also featured A$AP Rocky.
