Several outlets are reporting that newly signed New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown has been accused of raping a woman, according to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida. 

Britney Taylor -- who worked as a personal trainer for Brown -- according to the lawsuit, was sexually assaulted on three separate occasions. Twice in June 2017 and again in May 2018. 

Brown has denied every allegation made by Taylor through a statement from his lawyer, Darren Heitner.  

“Mr. Brown denies each and every allegation in the lawsuit. He will pursue all legal remedies to not only clear his name but to also protect other professional athletes against false accusations.”

ESPN’s Josina Anderson spoke to Heitner and confirms that Brown is denying all allegations and will seek all legal recourse to clear his name.

The three incidents Taylor alleges in the lawsuit are graphic and disturbing. 

During a training session in June 2017, the suit claims Brown exposed himself and kissed her without permission. 

Later that month, according to the suit, while they were streaming religious programming on a tablet at Brown’s South Florida home, he started masturbating behind Taylor and ejaculated on her back. 

On May 20, 2018, according to the suit, Brown forced Taylor onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress and “forcibly” raped her. 

In his statement, Brown’s lawyer said, “any sexual interaction with Mr. Brown was entirely consensual.”

The suit also contains images of messages allegedly sent by Brown to Taylor regarding the incidents. The Athletic’s Nick Underhill posted them on Twitter. 

The Patriots issued a statement of their own regarding the allegations.

“We take these allegations very seriously. Under no circumstance does this organization condone sexual violence or assault. The league has informed us that they will be investigating. We will have no further comment while that investigation takes place.”

In the meantime, Brown expects to attend practice and suit up this weekend when the Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins.
