Vybz Kartel Ordered to Pay $15 Million for Missed Concert Appearance

The dancehall star Vybz Kartel is ordered to pay $15 million for missed concert date and he is also currently facing two murder charges.

Jamaican reggae star Vybz Kartel has been ordered by a judge to pay $15 million to a concert promoter after he failed to make a scheduled appearance in Turks and Caicos back in 2009, says HipHopDX.com.
The dancehall star (real name: Adidja Palmer) was ordered by a court to pay Jamaican hype man Alton Salmon for breach of contract. Salmon claims there was a riot at the venue at which Kartel was supposed to perform on August 14, 2009 after the artist failed to show up.
To make matters worse, Kartel is currently facing two murder charges and was recently granted bail to the tune of $3 million.
