Meek Mill Has Some Choice Words About Travis Scott's NFL Superbowl Halftime Performance Spot...
Astroworld fans will have yet another stage to celebrate the No. 1 album with Houston rapper Travis Scott on after TMZ announced that he’ll be headlining the NFL’s Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show with pop-rock band stars, Maroon 5.
However, not everyone is celebrating what his fans would consider another W for Travis’ huge 2018 year in music—namely, Philly emcee icon Meek Mill. It goes without saying that the NFL has been on hip-hop’s sh** list since their blackballing scandal against former NFL quarterback and revered socio-political activist Colin Kaepernick. So after Meek, who, like Kaepernick, has lent his platform to similarly major causes such as prison reform, heard about La Flame’s halftime stage spot, he had a few words to share that Trav himself should have seen before signing off on the deal.
Meek had just one question for Travis’s acceptance of the halftime show: ‘For what?’
After all, Meek continued, Travy can (and has been doing) great all by himself…sans NFL platform
Some suspected that he might have been tossing some Twitter shade at the Houston rap star
But the Championships rapper later clarified that no personal shots were intended through his message.

Nonetheless, when taking the racist red scarlet letter that the NFL has hanging around its neck into consideration, Meek’s question is certainly one worth asking.
