Austin Brown to Open for Miguel
The idea of Miguel rocking a sellout crowd at one of Hollywood's most iconic venues alone is enough to be billed as one of the year's hottest shows. Now, it's just become even more scorching with rising star Austin Brown having announced, via Twitter, that he will serve as the night's opener.
The 27-year-old singer/songwriter, who is also the youngest son of Rebbie Brown (aka Rebbie Jackson), will kick off the show with some of his original hits like "Menage A Trois," "Stargazer" and the Rodney Jerkins-produced "All I Need."
The baby faced crooner, who is a member of BET's esteemed Music Matters program, released his debut album, Highway 85, to critical acclaim and continued to garner national attention with his brief but sizzling performance at the 2013 BET Awards. Of course now that he's set to share the stage with a Grammy Award winner and fellow BET Music Matters alum, in Miguel, the spotlight will only get brighter.
The show, which is being presented by Bud Light Music First and Myspace, is happening this Thursday (Aug. 1) at The Palladium in Hollywood.
