Jodie Turner-Smith hopes her ex-husband Joshua Jackson and Lupita Nyong’o are “happy.”

During an interview with The Cut, published on Friday (June 14), the “Queen & Slim” actress opened up about her split from Jackson and reacted to his rumored romance with Nyong’o.

When asked by the publication if it was “weird” to see Jackson dating another actress just two months after she filed for divorce, Turner-Smith replied, “Good for them.” 

“We need happiness in order to peacefully co-parent,” she added, referring to their daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson, who they welcomed in April 2020. “I’m trying to get us to the Gwyneth and Chris Martin level. I truly hope they’re happy and that it benefits us as a family.”

Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October 2023 after nearly four years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Shortly after, the former “Dawson’s Creek” actor was seen with Nyong’o at a Janelle Monae concert in Los Angeles.
