Kendrick Lamar dropped a new, untitled five-minute track on Instagram. The post features only audio alongside a picture of Nike shoes, with no caption or additional information provided.

The song arrives just days after news broke that Lamar will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, set to take place in New Orleans in February 2025.“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one,” Lamar said in a statement.

JAY-Z, whose Roc Nation co-produces the halftime show, added, “Kendrick Lamar is truly a once-in-a-generation artist and performer. His deep love for hip-hop and culture informs his artistic vision. The new track marks the Compton rapper's first release since his hit single “Not Like Us,” the most successful song amidst his ongoing feud with Drake earlier this year. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May. Since then, “Not Like Us” has dominated multiple other charts.
