'White Men Can't Jump' Teaser Shows Sinqua Walls Starring Alongside Jack Harlow
The White Men Can’t Jump remake officially released its first teaser starring Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow.
A snippet of the upcoming reboot dropped on Sunday (Feb. 5), with the premiere of the film landing on Hulu on May 19. The movie is directed by Charles Kidd II (a.k.a Calamatic) and produced by Kenya Barris' Khalabo Ink Society.
The original 1992 movie starred Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. In the remake, the snippet features Harlow and Walls starting a 2-on-2 game of basketball when Harlow's character says he may not have enough money to cover the game.
In the 30-second clip, Harlow and Walls try to recapture Harrelson and Snipes chemistry as they chat about who the greatest living director is, Paul Thomas Anderson or Spike Lee.
News about Harlow making his acting-debut dropped back in Mar. 2022. The new cast will also include Vince Staples, Laura Harrier and others.
Doug Hall, who co-wrote the original screenplay, Ryan Kalil, Noah Weinstein, E. Brian Dobbins, and Blake Griffin all serve as executive producers for the new movie.
