Eminem Crowned King of Hip Hop by Rolling Stone

Lil Wayne, Drake, Jay-Z and Kanye are left watching Em's throne.

A lot of rappers claim to be "top dog" on the mic, but when it comes to quantifiable data, Rolling Stone magazine argues that there can be only one. The most dominant artist in the game is none other than Eminem, according to the venerable rock and roll publication, which compiled a list of rappers and compared them across several categories.
Em came out on top in multiple categories including album sales and social media clout, while Drake, Kanye and Jay-Z earned the crown in radio play, critical acclaim, and awards, respectively. The survey only looked at data since 2009.
Second place on the list was Lil Wayne, with Drake, Kanye and Jay-Z rounding out the top 5. See the full list and reasoning at Rolling Stone
