Terrence Howard's Fox drama, Empire, is ending after this season, and the show's final season premiere will air this week. While walking the carpet at the 2019 Emmy Awards, Howard stopped by to chat with a reporter about the fate of the series and what's coming up next for him, and he ended up going on a bizarre rant that is certainly one for the books.

In the super awkward interview with KTLA, the 50-year-old actor started by wondering aloud how he is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame without having an Emmy nomination to his name.

"It's interesting... how am I getting a star for TV when I've never received an Emmy nomination for TV? Ya know?" he said. "I think an Emmy nomination would come first."

When the Hustle & Flow star was asked to elaborate on his recent announcement that he's leaving the entertainment business after Empire wraps, things took an odd turn, with Howard going on a nonsensical rant that left the reporter visibly confused, to say the least.

"I spent 37 years pretending to be people so people can pretend to watch and enjoy what I'm doing when I've actually made some discoveries in my own personal life with sciences that Pythagoras was searching for," he began. "I was able to open up the flower of life properly and find the real wave conjugations that we've been looking for for 10,000 years. So... why would I continue, ya know?... Walking on water for tips... when I've got an entire generation to teach a whole new world to?"

Attempting to redirect the conversation, the reporter asked Howard if he planned to share this newfound information once he's officially given up acting, and the random comments only got stranger.

"I'm going to be sharing that on Tuesday when I receive my star," he continued. "I'm going to be able to prove that gravity is only an effect and not a force. I'm putting something on YouTube where I will build the planet Saturn without gravity and build the Milky Way galaxy without gravity."

The interviewer quickly interjected, signaling to end the interview with a quick "Thank you very much, Terrence. Enjoy the night."
