Halle Bailey Speaks Out Against DDG Featuring Son on Livestream

The actress expressed frustration after ex-partner DDG brought their 11-month-old son on Kai Cenat’s Twitch without her approval.

Yesterday (Nov. 6), Halle Bailey expressed frustration over her ex, DDG, featuring their 11-month-old son, Halo, on a Twitch livestream with Kai Cenat without her consent.

The actress addressed DDG’s actions directly, posting on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Hi everyone. Just so you know, I am out of town, and I don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people."

Halle continued by emphasizing her role as Halo’s mother and protector, noting, “I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.” In a follow-up tweet, she added, “As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.” Shortly after, she deactivated both her X and Instagram accounts.

Meanwhile, the livestream drew attention from fans for its father-son moments.

Last month, the “Moonwalking in Calabasas” rapper publicly announced his split from Halle, sharing a heartfelt statement on his Instagram Story. He explained, “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways… Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other.”

The 27-year-old concluded by asking for support as they navigate co-parenting, saying, “As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.”
