Kandi Burruss Debuts Trendy Athleisure Collection

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star introduced the line on Instagram.

One thing about Kandi Burruss is that she will find a way to make a coin; this time, it's a new athleisure line.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram to share a video directed by Derek Blanks to the tune of “Knuck If You Buck” by Crime Mob sporting multiple athleisure sets. She layered her famous quote, “I’m about to headbutt this b****!” over the visual for comedic effect.

She started the reel in a chic black and brown ensemble comprising high-waist leggings and a track jacket; she was abruptly nudged aside by her clone, revealing three additional sets in gray, pink, and blue. The actress complemented each look with classic white Air Force One sneakers and sported a stylish half-up and half-down hairstyle.

Given the rise in sales of this athleisure since the pandemic, it makes sense that Burruss is maneuvering into this lane. Business Wire reports that the global athleisure market is anticipated to reach 662.56 billion US dollars by 2030.

Some fans and friends playfully set a deadline for a response from Burruss' castmate Sheree Whitfield, saying, "Sheree got 24 hours to respond 😂😂😂." While RHOA alum Porsha Williams expressed being amused by the video.

This video follows the backdrop of a feud between Burruss and Whitfield during Season 15 of RHOA, where accusations were exchanged regarding slander on Burruss' YouTube show and lack of support for Whitfield’s entrepreneurial venture and clothing line, She by Sheree. The controversy around Whitfield’s collection spans 14 years. During the initial release in 2022, people complained: “about the prices, her website crashing, and the resemblance to items from the likes of SHEIN, Fashion Nova and Amazon,” according to Yahoo.

The Xscape singer wants folks to "stay on go" in the new Tagged Leisure Sets, which can be purchased at Tags Boutique, her online store, and brick-and-mortar in Atlanta, Georgia. She opened the boutique nearly 11 years ago with co-owner Peaches Chin.
