Baltimore Police Find Child Wandering The Streets Alone

They’re asking for the public’s help to reunite him with his parents or guardians.

According to the Baltimore Police, the child's parents/guardians have been located.

The Baltimore Police Department seeks the public’s help to find the parents or guardians of a child found all alone in the streets.

The little boy was found shortly after midnight on Thursday (Dec. 16) wandering in the Royal Farms Arena area, the police stated on Facebook. He’s seen in a photograph wearing jeans, a gray Mickey Mouse coat and carrying a brown paper bag. He’s also bravely trying to force a smile for the photographer.

By Friday (Dec. 17), the post received more than 10,000 shares. Many of the more than 1,200 comments offered prayers for the child and promised to spread the word in the hope that  he’s reunited with his family.

One person wrote, “That baby is well groomed and looks very well cared for!! Something else is going on! I will spread the word to see if any relatives recognize this baby.... and pray that everything turns out for the better.”

The post was also a sounding board for people to comment on parenting skills.

“Yall need to binge watch your kids,” another person fired.

That kind of remark was met with some pushback.

“For all those saying ‘better parents,’ yes, that's a possibility. BUT! It could also be that he is non-verbal and a ‘runner,’ another person shot back.
