Lil Durk Walks Off Stage During Performance At Howard University Homecoming
It’s homecoming season and with the fall festivities comes college concerts and special performances.
For Howard University, specifically, the HBCU booked rapper Lil Durk served as their headlining homecoming performer but the Chi-town artist wasn’t really feeling the energy of the crowd.
As a result, the “Who Want Smoke” rapper walked off the stage mid-performance, cutting his set short even though he reportedly agreed to perform more songs.
“Aye look, we was supposed to do more songs but this sh*t sounds so bogus I don’t even feel this sh*t for real,” he said, according to a TikTok that captured the incident. “But I appreciate y’all for f***ing with us one time.”
HipHopDX notes that following Durk’s exit his personal DJ wrapped up the show with a few more hits songs for the crowd to enjoy.
Of course Black Twitter had hilarious reactions to the Durk and Howard fiasco, see below:
In other Lil Durk news, the 29-year-old joined Meek Mill at his Expensive Pain concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night (Oct. 23). According to the MMG rapper, it was a sold-out event, which he shared in a tweet.
