A$AP Rocky: LAPD Reportedly In Possession Of November 2021 Shooting Footage
Following A$AP Rocky’s April 20th arrest, firearms were discovered in the police search of the rapper’s Los Angeles home.
According to TMZ, the authorities have determined that the firearms found inside the home were not connected to a November 2021 shooting, reportedly involving Rocky and an unspecified victim. Sources close to Rocky say the cops discovered the guns were,
“lawfully purchased and legally registered.”
Despite the guns being legally owned by the rapper, TMZ says LAPD has footage of the November 2021 shooting. The video could put him in troubled water if the footage is clear enough and they can prove Rocky’s involvement.
Rocky, 33, was taken into custody on April 20 after flying back to the U.S. after vacationing in Barbados with pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna.
He was taken into custody by authorities for a November 2021 shooting that took place near Vista Del Mar and Selma Avenue in L.A.
The victim claimed Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) shot at him three to four times and believed one of the gullets grazed his left hand, according to police reports.
Rocky was booked into jail and shortly after, he posted bail in the amount of $550,000.
Rocky has a court date set for August 17.
