Wesley Snipes Released From Prison
Wesley Snipes, 51, has been released from prison after serving three years. According to TMZ, the actor was released on April 2. He has since been transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office, which will be in charge of his house imprisonment.
Snipes was sent to the Federal Correctional Institution McKean, a minimum security prison,
in 2010 for tax evasion. Before his imprisonment, Snipes was an A-list actor who starred in such Hollywood hits as the Blade franchise, Brooklyn’s Finest and White Men Can’t Jump.
Will he return to his former big-screen glory? No word yet on if he is working or planning on starring in any projects. He will be done with his house arrest on July 19.
