Another One Of Bill Cosby’s ‘Kids’ Is Speaking Out About His Sexual Assault Conviction
Bill Cosby's recent convcition of sexual assault has seen his eponymous sitcom suffer as reruns have been scrapped from a series of networks.
Now, a star of one of Cosby's most iconic projects, A Different World, is speaking out about how the latest news surrounding the fallen comedian will affect the series.
A Different World star, Kadeem Hardison, who played Dwayne Wayne on the sitcom, recently spoke with TMZ about the messy situation, stressing that his former boss' criminal behavior should not overshadow the cultural impact the show had on the world.
While leaving LAX, the actor said that Cosby's sexual assault conviction cannot drag the show into the dumps.
"He had a lot less to do with our show than people would think because his name wasn't on it," he said. "So, we definitely had a disconnection, but it is because of him that it got on and stayed on... I think that show was way too important for its time and now. It was much bigger than Bill Cosby."

Cosby was recently found guilty on all three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and molesting accuser Andrea Constand. He is currently awaiting sentencing and could possibly serve up to 30 years in prison.
