Criminal Mind: Here's How Shemar Moore's BFF Stabbed Him in the Back
Shemar Moore was recently robbed of more than $60,000 from his on-set best friend on the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds.
According to the LA Times, Moore and the guest actor Keith Tisdell appeared on two episodes together but got extremely close on and off set. Tisdell's plan blew up on Wednesday as he was sentenced on charges that he stole the large sum from Moore.
He was also reportedly sentenced to probation and 45 days of CalTrans labor. On top of that, if he fails to pay back every penny and doesn't stay on the right side of the law for the next three years, he will land himself in jail. The charge may be expunged from his record, though, if he stays on the straight and narrow and coughs up the cash.
Tisdell and Moore became so close that Moore brought him on board his retail merchandise company Baby Girl LLC, which donates a portion of its proceeds to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Due to his sketchy involvement, he was arrested back in January on suspicion of embezzlement and even admitted to grand theft.
"I've done a lot for him because he had me, my friends fooled," Moore said in court. "I'm not here for money. I'm here because he betrayed a friendship. This is not OK. You don't do this to people."
