August Alsina 'Shared And Honored' His New Love On VH1's 'The Surreal Life' Reboot
August Alsina announced that he had a new love on national television on Monday.
The 30-year-old singer opened up about his newfound relationship on the reboot of VH1’s The Surreal Life. In the clip, Alsina talked about how the show had changed his life. During the confessional, the New Orleans native described his desire to have “a love that feels limitless.”
Alsina said, “I want to share that and honor the person that I love and that loves me back and teaching me so much about love and healing. I want to do that in front of the world because it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like.”
The “Song Cry” singer also explained that his alleged new beau defied what “love is supposed to be, or love should look like.”
Alsina then introduced his alleged new bae to the world. An equally fine man came out and sat with the gorgeous singer. The two men embraced, with Alsina saying, “I love you.”
The “I Luv This Sh*t” crooner didn’t formally define his sexuality or the nature of his relationship with the man named Zu. He did say he was ”shedding his old skin and beginning anew.”
A quick peruse of Alsina’s Instagram revealed that he had a pinned post of Zu and him performing in Washington, D.C., in September.
“ZaZa first performance last night. D.C. popped the cherry 🍒 it was loveeeeee. Thank y’all so much 🤞🏽❤️🩹@iamlazu_,” he wrote.
