She wants to grace a Broadway stage someday
The multitalented not only writes and sings, but she acts too. She’s appeared in several hit series including, Greenleaf, Half & Half and feature-length films like The Fighting Temptations and Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.
She was once quoted saying, “I always wanted to be in a musical like ‘West Side Story,’ ‘Sound of Music,’ or ‘Singing in the Rain!’”
She vowed never to sing after a musical mishap
Eria took her singing so seriously that when she was thirteen, she forgot the words to a song, and she stopped singing for nearly three years. She told WeTV, “So, I didn’t sing again until I was 16!”
She started in the business as a songwriter
During a vintage interview, Erica said that former bandmate, “Tina and I got a publishing deal as songwriters before we became Mary Mary.”
