Migos Are Coming Out With A Movie And Quavo Is Apparently Writing The Script
It appears that the Migos aren’t satisfied with just dominating the radio stations and music industry. Now they want to take over your movie screens too. In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, the rap trio dropped the news that they were in the process of crossing over to cinema with their very own movie. And what’s even better is that Quavo is switching up his mic for a pen, as “Quavo Tarantino,” the screen writer.
When asked about what was next for the rap group after the instant success of their single, “Bad and Boujee,” Offset surprised Lowe and fans by announcing that they were leaning towards making movies. “My boy Quavo writing scripts,” Offset said. “He been in that kitchen trying to whip up.”
Quavo later chimed in, suggesting he was working on something that is inspired by some of his favorite pictures from back in the day. “I’m a '90s baby, and my favorite movies got all my dope artists in ‘em,” he said before listing a number of films, including Juice, Menace II Society, and I Got the Hook-Up. “That’s what we’re doing right now. We’re looking into the script.”
As far as the music goes, however, the boys revealed that they’re still looking into dropping some new fire. When asked about their rumored joint project with Travis Scott, Quavo said: “We got all that we wanna do. We just trying to get all the track listing.”
