Samuel L. Jackson Is The New Voice Of Amazon’s Alexa, And Twitter Is Losing It
If you're a fan of Samuel L. Jackson's iconic voice and phrases, you're in luck. The veteran actor has lent his voice to Amazon's virtual assistant Alexa, and Twitter is already ready to click "order."
Amazon announced on Wednesday that, for a 99-cent introductory fee, customers who already own an Alexa-supported device will soon be able to purchase an additional voice package featuring Jackson's voice.
The company's website further explained that the Captain Marvel actor's voice will be multifaceted throughout the software, providing customers with weather updates, jokes, help with playing music, setting alarms, timers and reminders. The voice will also see him share information about his own personal life and career — and yes, the Oscar nominee's iconic swearing with be included.
