Angela Simmons has racked up a five-figure tab the wrong way.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, The “Growing Up Hip Hop” star was slammed with a huge bill from a penthouse she rented in New Jersey in 2019. The landlord of the 22-story Pembroke at Fort Lee co-op luxury apartment building alleges the socialite did not pay her full rent in 2020.

According to court documents, Simmons also has not responded to the complaint, which led the court to enter a default judgment leaving her responsible for $48,000 in fees. That amount includes late fees, outstanding rent, repairs and more.

Reps for Simmons did not respond to the outlet when they reached out for comment.

Still, it seems as though she’s unbothered by the suit: last week, Simmons posted a sizzling photo of her on Instagram rocking an orange mini dress with cutouts accentuated with a sexy halter-neck.

That same week, she filmed a reel of her making a sweet breakfast treat from Angela’s Cakes, her new vegan brand of pancake and funnel cake mix.

“For me, cooking is an art. I like having fun. I’m not a chef, but I definitely love pancakes,” she said in the video as she prepared the meal.

“Growing up, my grandfather always made pancakes with a crispy edge. So for me, when I can make my pancakes, they have to have a crispy edge to it. I love food! I know people think vegans don’t eat, but I eat. I love eating. And I do have a sweet tooth, so funnel cakes and pancakes I’d say are kind of my weakness.”
