Candace Owens Defends White Supremacy, Says 'Not A Problem'

She blames the lack of active fathers and Black on Black crime.

In yet another shock and awe moment, conversative pundit Candace Owens, a Black woman, casually defends white supremacy and white nationalism, instead casting blame for society’s ills on absentee fathers and Black on Black crime.

“White supremacy and white nationalism is not a problem that is harming Black America,” she spewed.

During a House Oversight Joint Subcommittee hearing on Friday, September 20, meant to confront racism, the right-wing political activist dismissed white supremacy altogether, saying it does not harm Black America and would not be included in the top 100 issues afflicting the Black community.

  • “Based on the hierarchy of what's impacting minority Americans, if I had to make a list of 100 things, white nationalism would not make the list," said the 30-year-old. "I would argue that right now, we have a social environment that is hostile toward men and does not inspire masculinity or being a man and what it means to be a father figure in the household. Black on Black crime is a huge issue in America right now, but people don't like to talk about that.”

Newsweek reports the Stamford, Connecticut native continued to deflect from institutionalized racism by casting blame on illegal immigration, abortion, and Black single motherhood as the pitfalls for minorities shortcomings. The Blexit founder suggested Democrats launch hearings to tackle those issues instead.

“Let’s start talking about putting fathers back in the home. Let’s start talking about God and religion and shrinking government, because government has destroyed Black American homes and every single one of you know that. Many people should be ashamed for what we have done and Congress has turned into. It’s Days of our Lives in here and it’s embarrassing.”

But her comments shouldn’t come as a surprise.

In April, Owens argued how the rise in hate crimes is actually “fake” during a House hearing. The Washington Post shared how the podcast host was invited to testify about the increase of white terror attacks, including the Pittsburgh synagogue killings, but claimed recent reports of white domestic terrorism was based on “manupulating statistics.”

Last December during a British conference speaking engagement, Owens even justified Adolf Hitler’s dictatorship and mass murders as a simple effort to “make Germany great and have things run well” who “wanted to globalize.”
