Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Home Raided By IRS Agents
Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing more legal trouble and this time it's with the IRS.
TMZ reports that law enforcement officials from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office along with IRS agents were sent to 6ix9ine’s home in Lake Worth, FL on Wednesday (April 18) to execute the seizing of his assets.
According to the report, personal items and several of the 6ix9ine’s whose real name is Daniel Hernández, luxury vehicles, were seized during the operation.
6ix9ine was not home at the time of the raid and was reportedly in the Dominican Republic where he’s been spending more time because of legal troubles.
Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine’s attorney, addressed the matter in a statement.
"We are assessing the situation and will issue a statement at the appropriate time," Lazzaro said in a statement.
6ix9ine has been facing numerous legal issues over the past few months. He was arrested in the Dominican Republic for an alleged domestic dispute in an incident with his girlfriend Yailin la Más Viral, who's a reggaeton artist.
According to reports, 6ix9ine assaulted Yailin and was accused of enacting “physical and psychological violence” towards her. He was later released on multiple conditions as the investigation continued.
Wanda Díaz, Viral's mother, accused 6ix9ine of the following, "attempted to choke [Yailin], attempted to throw her off of a second floor, spit in her face, and told her that without him, she is a nobody."
6ix9ine was also arrested for allegedly assaulting music producers at a seaside hotel in the Dominican Republic in October.
In August, 6ix9ine was arrested in Florida after he failed to appear in court for a traffic violation.
