This week Kanye West dropped his much-hyped album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, and new reports suggest there could be another explosive collaboration in his future: a stiletto line with luxury footwear-maker Giuseppe Zanotti.

The designer told Footwear News that Kanye’s been taking notes on shoe design and hinted he might be putting what he’s learned into practice soon. “Kanye is always here in my factory. In the last three years, he has come here maybe every month and worked with the employees 10 to 12 hours a day,” Zanotti said. “[Kanye] loves learning about shoes, both the design and construction, and we’ve tried to design something together. In a couple of months, he could have his own special collection out.”

Hmm...maybe Kanye/Giuseppe Zanotti footwork will come just in time for Kanye to add them to the Spring 2012 collection he’s reportedly showing at New York Fashion Week?

The rapper has already made a line of men’s sneakers for Louis Vuitton, but the ladies can’t wait to see if he actually executes this new rumored line of women's heels. In Kanye’s song “Monster,” Nicki Minaj declares that “a monster Giuseppe heel, that's the monster shoe!"
