A ‘Think Like A Man’ Star Is Dragging Mo’Nique To Hell
Mo'Nique recently took to social media to claim that famed producer and director Will Packer attempted to "ruin her character." While Packer, himself, has failed to respond to the actress' claims, one of the stars he's worked with on the blockbuster hit Think Like A Man is speaking up, in his honor.
Gary Owen, who played Bennett in the film, took to Instagram where he held no punches while dragging Mo'Nique for slandering his friend's name. He captioned the spirited video, "I'm not gonna sit back & let ppl slander my friends [sic] name. Not cool. Monique went to [sic] far with this one."
"She went too far when she started blaming Will Packer," he said. "That's my friend. That's my homeboy. Will Packer has done more for Black actors and actresses than just about anybody in the last 10 years. I mean, he is basically showing Hollywood that Black movies have a mainstream market."
He didn't stop there. Owen went on to claim that the actress has garnered a reputation of failing to take accountability for her actions.
"Mo'Nique blames everybody," he continued. "He put you in the movie Almost Christmas when nobody was putting you in movies and he stuck his neck out and he went to bat for you and now you're throwing him under the bus. I'm not going to sit back and let you slander my friend's name like that. Sometimes, you got to take accountability for yourself. It's you. It's you!... C'mon, Mo'Nique. S**t's getting old!"
