Meek Mill Endorses Respect My Vote Campaign

The MMG rapper plans to engage high risk voters at upcoming New Jersey concert.

Meek Mill has teamed up with the Hip Hop Caucus to increase voter turnout for the upcoming presidential election. The MMG artist will perform with Machine Gun Kelly in Teaneck, New Jersey, for the Respect My Vote campaign, empowering a state that has historically been known for disenfranchisement. The concert is an additional effort by the Hip Hop Caucus to empower voters not only to register, but also to share information within their communities about voting.

The Hip Hop Caucus has been endorsed by major artists like 2 Chainz, Lupe Fiasco, Trey Songz, Travis Porter and Future. They've also worked with T.I. and Keyshia Cole in the past, targeting the youth vote and other high risk voters. They've held town hall concerts, shot public service announcements, facilitated album signings and gathered as much information as they could about voter suppression efforts, particularly during the 2012 election season.

Joining forces with Lenny the Barber, the Hip Hop Caucus' Meek Mill-MGK concert will go down this Saturday at the Teaneck Armory.
