Zoe Saldana is a married woman. The Star Trek Into Darkness actress wed Italian artist Marco Perego in London this past June, Us Weekly confirms. The couple, first spotted kissing last May after Saldana's Star Trek premiere, have reportedly "known each other for a long time."
"It was super small but very romantic and beautiful," a source reveals of the secret ceremony, which was attended by just a few close friends and relatives. "They have great chemistry. Zoe's thrilled to have someone she can enjoy life with!"
Saldana was previously engaged to model-turned-entrepreneur Keith Britton but ended their relationship of 11 years in November 2011. She then had an on-again, off-again relationship with her The Words co-star Bradley Cooper. The actress, who will soon be seen on the big screen portraying Nina Simone, caused a stir earlier this year when she told Allure magazine, "I may just end up with a woman raising my kids."
Sounds like that idea is on hold for now. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
