Just in time for the Super Bowl, Lil Wayne has outed himself as a proud Cheesehead via a new song.
On "Green & Yellow," a play on the runaway Pittsburgh/Pittsburgh Steelers anthem "Black & Yellow" by Wiz Khalifa, Wayne shows his support for the Green Bay Packers with a little competitive trash talk:
"Yall know what it is / I'm a Cheesehead, yall ni**as cheese whiz / Pittsburgh Steelers: That's nothin' / A Super Bowl ring: That's stuntin'."
Despite the play on words, Weezy takes pains to point out that "this ain't a diss song." It'll be interesting to see if any pro-Steelers MCs, maybe even Khalifa himself, who played "Black & Yellow" before kickoff at the Steelers AFC championship win, will fire back.
