Drake Turns Up in Miami for His 37th Birthday

His restaurant, Dave’s Hot Chicken, is also giving away free sliders in honor of him.

Drake is toasting to another year around the sun.

To mark his 37th birthday, the “Nonstop” hitmaker brought the party to Miami, the same city where he celebrated his special day last year. The artist kicked off the festivities a day early on Monday (Oct. 23) at Italian hotspot Casadonna, as reported by TMZ.

Drake partied the night away with family and friends, including “Breaking Bad” stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, who moonlighted as bartenders.

To keep the celebration going, the Grammy winner’s restaurant, Dave’s Hot Chicken, is giving away free sliders at all participating locations, per PEOPLE. The sliders feature a jumbo piece of chicken served on a potato bun with kale slaw, pickles and Dave’s signature sauce.

The rapper, who recently dropped his latest album, “For All the Dogs” became a fan of the franchise in 2021, then hopped on as one of its most prominent investors. After that, the business expanded across the country. Earlier this year, it was named America’s Fastest Growing Restaurant Chain.

“[Drake is] our most famous investor and the fact that he wants to give something back to fans by letting everyone try Dave’s Hot Chicken on him, that says it all," said CEO Bill Phelps in a press release.

To get your hands on a free slider, scan your Dave’s Hot Chicken app inside of the restaurant, between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time. But if you’re thinking of running up a free tab on online orders from Uber Eats or DoorDash, think again: The offer is only good in person.
