Da Brat And Judy Dupart Are Officially Married—Here's What We Know About The 2-22-22 Wedding Ceremony!
February 22, 2022 was a momentous date if you’re into numbers and is the last time a “Twosday” like it will happen again for another 400 years. The unique palindrome is also the day Da Brat and fiancée Jessica “Judy” Dupart decided to marry.
On Tuesday, the Brat Loves Judy co-stars tied the knot during a romantic ceremony at the Horse Mansion in Fairburn, Georgia. According to PEOPLE, 100 guests were in attendance, including Eva Marcille, Kandi Burruss, and Porsha Williams.
Brat told the magazine that her special day had "so many things going on, and so many decisions to make" before heading to the altar, but noted she’s looking forward to being able to call Dupart her "wife."
"Everything about her made me want her to be mine forever," the rapper said. "And I felt like I knew it not much longer than from the day we met."
Brat and Dupart reportedly arrived at their wedding ceremony in Cinderella-esque horse-drawn carriages and wore dresses designed by Esé Azénsbot. The event was planned by EllyB Events (Eliana Baucicault) and Pomp Posh Event Decor.
Groomsman Jermaine Dupri escorted Da Brat down the aisle while Dupart had her brother, Damon Dupart Sr., walked her down. Lisa Ray McCoy served as a bridesmaid.
As for why they chose that specific wedding date, the newlyweds say it’s very significant in their relationship.
"We've been calling each other twin flames for a while. So this date, 2/22/22, is a significant event. We just didn't want to miss it because it comes once in a lifetime," Dupart said to PEOPLE. "It's relevant. It's just real significant to our relationship. It signifies angel numbers, and it also is reminiscent of twin flames."
