Posted Aug. 9, 2007 -- In the midst of all the baby-daddy hoopla with Eddie Murphy, Spice Girl Melanie Brown forgot to tell the world she got hitched! Brown, who gave birth to Eddie Murphy's daughter in April, secretly married her boyfriend, Steven Belafonte, in Las Vegas on June 6, according to Clark County marriage records.

Belafonte, who started dating Brown during her pregnancy, is a movie producer whose recent credits include "Sisters" and "Thank You for Smoking."  "Regarding the marriage, Mel and Stephen have know each other for many years and were great friends first," Brown's rep told People in a statement. "Now they are deeply in love. The two are very happy together.

Murphy acknowledged his paternity of Brown's daughter, Angel Iris, last week, one day after the 32-year-old singer took legal action to establish him as the parent.
